Product Manager
An excellent opportunity for someone with experience in building products for developers within the driver assistance, automotive or mobility ecosystem.
We usually respond within two weeks
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our product team to help us accelerate the development and go-to-market efforts for our Software Development Kit (SDK) for our Humanised Driver Assistance Systems (HDAS) product. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in building products for developers within the driver assistance, automotive or mobility ecosystem. Your work will impact how autonomous systems will interact with people - a field whose relevance is rapidly expanding, and from which you can expect a fast-moving adventure.
What you will be doing
We have two cross-functional teams, and you’ll be the Product Manager in one of them, supported by a head of product. Working in close partnership with the team you’ll play a pivotal role in defining the features, product roadmap, and ensuring the product’s successful adoption by Tier 1 automotive suppliers, car manufacturers and original equipment manufacturers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading feature discovery and communication of customer needs to feed into the product roadmap
- Representing customer needs through gathering, defining and writing clear product requirement documents
- Facilitating cross-functional decision making with stakeholders in applying data driven prioritisation to ensure a well maintained backlog
- Identifying relevant industry regulations and market trends to contribute to a successful product strategy
- Presenting features, use cases and their evaluations to a wide range of people to build shared understanding
- Taking ownership of individual features throughout the product life cycle, including documentation, training materials, and support for users using the product
- Contributing to our culture of continuous improvement as part of an agile product operations process
- Communicating progress on product goals, timelines and schedules
- Supporting marketing and sales to develop compelling messaging, materials, and launch strategies to enable commercial growth
- Unblocking team members by participating in regular meeting cadences and coordinating between teams for end-to-end development
- Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to enable product success
- Developing and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with key customer stakeholders
We are looking for someone who has
- 2+ years of Product Management or related experience, preferably within the automotive or embedded systems industry
- Some experience successfully launching and managing products with developer users
- Some understanding of computer vision concepts, machine learning principles, and their application in driver assistance systems
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise messaging for a non-technical audience
- Strong analytical, creative problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience facilitating discussions and workshops to gather technical understanding/knowledge
The role will involve large responsibility and autonomy within the company, and require the ability to work both independently as well as part of a creative core team of designers, data scientists, and engineers.
